2008 Margaret River Merlot (12 x 750ml), Margaret River by Oceans Estate, 12.9% Alc/Vol, Tasting Notes: This wine is made from old block 4 of the Tomasi vineyard. The old vines consistently give us fruit incredible flavour and intensity. The wine is deep brick in colour and is in bright condition. The nose shows mulberry, strawberry and some cedar. The palate follows seamlessly with again mulberry and strawberry beging domination. There are oak and skin tannins in good balance. 2010 Chapman Grove Reserve Shiraz (12 x 750ml), Margaret River by Chapman Grove Estate, 12.6% Alc/Vol, Tasting Notes: The lovely rich red colour of this wine leads into beautiful aromas of spice, pepper and hints of gaminess on the nose. The mouth-feel is all about plump fleshy fruit and texture, with elegant tannins combining to give a very well-balanced finish. This wine has been aged for 18 months in French oak.. The palate has developed layers of flavour with hints of cedar fine oak, and various red and black berry flavours elegantly supported with smooth tannins..
2012 Mystery Premium Chardonnay (12 x 750ml), Margaret River, 12.8% Alc/Vol, Tasting Notes: This Mystery Margaret River is 100% Chardonnay, was harvested in the early hours of the morning to retain freshness. The juice was fermented using yeast strains specifically designed for Chardonnay, a portion was fermented in French oak barriques to enhance flavour and complexity. Post fermentation the wine was blended using a combination of material from tank and oak which received a light fining prior to bottling.Bright straw green, tropical and stone fruit aromas - predominantly white peach, with hints of toast and spices. This auction provides a delivery function. A charge will be applied to the invoice at the close of the auction and will cover delivery of your items to your nominated address. This charge is based on whether you have a metro ($10) or regional ($20) postcode, these are listed on out website. NO physical collection of the lots will be available.

All items at Ross’s Auctions are sold on an ‘as is, where is’ basis. This means the item is being sold in its current condition, regardless of any faults or damage. The bidder accepts full responsibility in satisfying themselves with the item prior to bidding. It is recommended that that if the bidder is in doubt, not to bid as no returns or refunds will be made.
This auction utilises Ross’s automatic payment system. Once the auction has closed all invoices under $2000.00 will be deducted directly from the credit card linked to your Ross’s premium account. This process streamlines the payment and invoicing of online auctions. For invoices above $2000.00 the buyer must complete payment through the ‘member tools’ area on the website, via direct deposit or in person at our Welshpool branch. All payments must be completed within one business day after the close of the auction.
This auction uses an 'anti snipe' feature which means that if a bid is made within 5 minutes of close, the bidding time will be extended by 5 minutes. This is to reduce the instances of bidders ‘sniping’ at the last minute of the auction.
Refunds / Returns
Ross' provides wines from some of Australia's finest wineries, guaranteeing the quality of the product. Our Winery partners offer a 30 day money back guarantee on wine auctions held with this condition. This may include, faulty or broken bottles on arrival, if the wine does not arrive. Conditions to this clause include: No more than two bottles from each lot may have been opened and buyers must return the lot to the 453 Orrong Road, Welshpool 6106, for assessment of their claim. Ross's Auctioneers and Valuers reserve the right to make the final assessment of the claim.

This auction has a buyer’s premium component. This premium is added on top of the hammer price. For example if the hammer price is $100.00 and the buyer’s premium is 15%, your final invoice for that lot will be $115.00. Each auction will note whether it is GST inclusive or exclusive.
